These two facilities—both under active construction—are poised to become the first of their kind in the MENA region, positioning Maydan as a regional leader in specialized industrial manufacturing.

Surfactants Company

Established in 2016, Surfactant Detergent Company (SDC) is revolutionizing raw material production for detergent plants and beyond. Leveraging cutting-edge ethoxylation technology and local resources, we drive innovation and economic growth, creating value and jobs for the community.

• Capacity: 40,000 MT Annually
• Location: Plas-Chem Park, next to SADARA Jubail 2, KSA.
• Production to start in Q1-2027

Ofoq AL-Maydan

Maydan Industry Company (MID) began the development of an artificial marble production facility in Saudi Arabia in early 2022. The plant, currently under construction, will utilize MMA and PMMA from SABIC and Alumina Trihydrate (ATH) from Ma’aden to manufacture artificial marble locally. Upon completion, it will be the first and only facility of its kind in the region. Ofoq AL-Maydan represents the manufacturing operations of MID and the MASCO Group in artificial marble production.
